Irene Rehme

Irene Rehme, 82, of Elbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday at home. Born on March 15, 1942, Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Irene found joy in traveling to Florida and embraced the precious moments spent with her loved ones. She enjoyed watching birds at the feeders and wildlife in her yard.

Irene was predeceased by her parents, John and Martha Wilson.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, John; daughters, Diane (Dale) Rehme Hausman of Syracuse and Lisa (Eric) Adelsperger of Elbridge; sisters, Nancy Fusco of Camillus and Mary (Lewis) Zimmerman of Bunnell, FL; grandchildren, Nora and Gabriel Hausman; and several nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Irene’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
